Southend Sunset!

Myself and my Mum took a visit to Southend for the evening! We had Fish and chips on the beach, paddled our toes & watched the sunset. We walked along the roadside next to the palm trees and felt as though we were in Miami! xx

Spaghetti House

During the Easter holidays, my friend and I decided to go down to Hyde Park to try and get some revision done whilst making the most of the lovely weather. As you can imagine lots of papers flew around the park & the sun soon went behind a cloud, so we quickly decided to go and look for somewhere nice to eat  instead. After little searching we found the Spaghetti House in Knightsbridge, and decided to have a look there as we had both never been there to eat before. As it was a weekday, the lunch menu was accessable, so we both decided on chicken escalope burgers with avocado on the side. It was such a delicious lunch! Originally I felt bad for not even ordering spaghetti at the Spaghetti House, but I did not regret it- the avocado was so moist & smooth, so it was really tasty. The burgers were the best ever! I will definitely be returning, & will have to try their spaghetti!

Bubbleology

I recently visited the Bubbleology place in South Kensington, and ordered the white peach flavour (due to a friend's recommendation!) It turned out to taste amazing! I picked to have the bubble tea with strawberry, mango & lychee boba, which made a delicious blend of fruity juice-like flavours. I was unsure about the boba originally, as the first time I had bubble tea had been with tapioca boba- its dark & murky colour is definitely as unappealing as its taste. However the boba I chose this time was so sweet & refreshing- like tropical juice. The weird bursts of flavour are what makes the bubble tea so unique & special; I will certainly be making many more trips there!

Fabulous Feet

So my sister is a bit of a dance-fanatic, she's pretty good too! Recently, she had a show on, and I was quite excited to go. The girls did not disappoint, lots of them were kitted out brightly in yellow midi-skirts and ribbons in hand! They shimmied their arms high in the air in the jazz & then swooped across the stage in the Swan Lake. I kind of regret not taking up dance haha!

An Afternoon on the South bank

A few days ago, my mum, my sister, my Grandma and I all went to the South bank on a sunny afternoon to make the most of the rare spot of sunshine! We had booked to visit the London Aquarium first, which was great fun; pointing out the all the Nemo and Dory fish. Lots of the tanks had fluorescent green/red/purple lights shining through which made the afternoon full of ooh's and ahh's haha!

My sister & I then split off from my Grandma & mum, and decided to explore the markets. As we both love food we were spoilt for choice between doughy Churros dipped in chocolate, German sausages or a fluffy pink sugar-rush of Candy floss on sticks! We chose Candy floss and then walked through a cool walkway on the South bank & took selfies...

Divergent

So I have recently been SO obsessed with the Divergent books! My best friend read them ages ago when they first came out and begged me to read them too, but I put it off for so long! Then the film came out and I still hadn't read them, but she booked for me & her to go and see it the day it premiered. I was so reluctant to go; I thought it would be too serious & intense- I felt like a rom-com! But I was surprised at how much I enjoyed it. Straight away when I got home I ordered the books on my kindle, and read them non-stop for days! I pretty much watched the sun come up in the morning and go down in the evening, still sprawled over the sofa in my dressing gown with some left-over Easter egg.

Mid- Insurgent (book 2) I found out my cousins hadn't seen it yet and wanted to, so I rallied us up and we went to see it. Being now a fan, I did a lot of squealing and shh-ing throughout the film, but managed to convert my cousins to new Divergent fans!

I loved Shailene Woodley & Theo James as Tris and Four, I thought they did such a great job, and SHEO would be so perfect!

I have linked a review of the film & book by 'polandbananasBOOKS' who is one of my favourite you tubers- her book reviews are so funny and relatable!
